Christina trained as a paper conservator at Camberwell College of Art and joined the British Museum in 1994 as conservation mounter. She is responsible for the mounting of works of art on paper and their preparation for study, exhibition and loan.

She is the main contact for the Prints and Drawings Department's recent acquisitions and their storage projects, and the Department for Africa, Oceania and the Americas..
